  • How often are my dogs/cats in the kennel? We offer a 'free play' environment. From 7am to 7 pm they are out of their kennels playing and interacting with our staff and other pets. They are only in their kennels for eating and sleeping at night. Cats are let out one family at a time to enjoy our kitty sun room!
  • What does 'free play' mean? It means that instead of your pet being kept in a kennel all day long, like most boarding facilities, our guest get to run, play, and enjoy the company of new friends and our staff. We have three accommodating areas for all dog types to socialize, a little dog play area, a ‘rowdy’ dog play area and our senior or ‘low energy’ lounge.
  • Will my pet be put in a kennel with other dogs/cats? No, not unless otherwise requested. We allow members of the same family to board together if that is what you prefer.
  • Do we have to bring our own food? No you don’t, we provide house food for all of our guests free of charge. If you would like to bring your own food or if your pet requires a specific diet we would be more than happy to cater to your needs. For our house food, we feed Eukanuba Veterinary Formula Low Residue Diet. It is specially designed to be easy on the digestive system so pets will have an easier time switching from one food to another.
  • Does The Utah Dog Park only take dogs? No! We take all pets! Cats, rabbits, snakes, and birds, we’re more than happy to accommodate to any pet.
  • Are you close to the freeway? Yes, very! We are located right between the 500 South and 2600 South freeway exits in Bountiful. Traveling from the north or south we are convenient and easy to find.
  • Do I need an appointment for my dog to get washed? No, come in anytime during business hours! You can use our deluxe self service dog wash (featuring hydrosurge power bathing system) or we’d be more than happy to bathe your pet for you.
  • Can I pick my pet up outside of business hours? Yes! We have a 24 hour on site caretaker that offers anytime pick up or drop off for a small fee. We ask that you schedule any after hours services in advance but we have a 24 hour phone line for emergencies or anything else unexpected.
  • How well do the dogs get along with each other? The dogs at our facility get along great! We test them socially before placing them in with the pack and we supervise constantly. We also have different areas to best suit any dog or temperament. Our staff is well trained and our goal is for everyone to have a great time! Cats are let out to play in our kitty sunroom one family at a time.
  • Do you offer any packages or discounts? Yes, we have discounts for multiple pets in the same family and we have prepaid discount packages in increments of 10, 20, and 30 available for purchase for both daycare and overnight boarding. View the Services page for all our pricing.
  • Do my dogs have to be vaccinated? Yes, we require the Rabies, Bordetella, and Distemper vaccinations for dogs to be eligible for our services. This is to ensure the safety of your pet, all our guests, and our staff.
  • Are you open on holidays? Yes, we are open 365 days a year! Holiday hours are 10am to 6pm and our 24 hour caretaker is available anytime after business hours.
  • What if my pet has special medical needs? We have a very experienced staff and we are more than happy to accommodate to any pet or need. We can dispense any medications as needed 24 hours a day.
  • Problems viewing the webcams? If you are using Internet Explorer you will need to make sure to that you
